If you do not use :ref:`bookings <bookings-label>`, disable the feature with the new :ref:`EnableBooking <enablebooking-label>` system preference. Doing this will hide all mentions of bookings in the staff interface.

String added in the repository
For libraries that use :ref:`EnhancedMessagingPreferences <enhancedmessagingpreferences-label>`, the 'Hold filled' message is now available as a digest. The notice template used is HOLDDGST and can be customized in the :ref:`notices and slips tool <notices-and-slips-label>`. Staff can choose the 'Digests only' option in patron files. If the :ref:`EnhancedMessagingPreferencesOPAC <enhancedmessagingpreferencesopac-label>` system preference is set to 'show', patrons will be able to modify their messaging preferences in their online account.
