If you want to completely hide items from a certain item type, let's say that you have a professional library with books reserved for staff and you don't want those to appear in the OPAC, use the :ref:`OpacHiddenItems <OpacHiddenItems-label>` system preference.

To have your item type images appear in the OPAC you need to set :ref:`OPACnoItemTypeImages <OPACnoItemTypeImages-label>` to 'Show'.
Damit Ihre Icons für die Medientypen-Icons im OPAC erscheinen, müssen Sie den Systemparameter :ref:`noItemTypeImages` auf "JaZeigen" setzen.
