String added in the repository
If you want to be notified by email when patrons modify or cancel a request, use the :ref:`ILLSendStaffNotices system preference <illsendstaffnotices-label>`. The emails use the ILL\_REQUEST\_MODIFIED and ILL\_REQUEST\_CANCEL notice templates. They can be customized in the :ref:`Notices and slips tool <notices-and-slips-label>`.
Außerdem wird eine E-Mail an den Meldenden geschickt, um ihn über den Erhalt des Anliegens zu informieren. Bei der gesendeten E-Mail handelt es sich um die Benachrichtigung TICKET\_ACKNOWLEDGE, die über das :ref:`Werkzeug Benachrichtigungen und Quittungen <notices-and-slips-label>`. angepasst werden kann.

For requests with the status 'New request', patrons will see the 'Request cancellation' button. If used, the request's status will be updated to 'Cancellation requested'. Staff may choose to delete the request to remove it completely.

The only change patrons can make is adding a note to the request then click 'Submit modifications'.

Clicking 'View' on a request brings up the full details.

Once created, the request will initially be listed with the status 'New request'. Request statuses are updated as staff process the request.
Ihre eingereichte Anfrage wird mit dem Status 'Neue Anfrage' aufgelistet. Ist die Anfrage erledigt, wird der Status auf 'Angefordert' gesetzt.
