String added in the repository
If you want to be notified by email when patrons modify or cancel a request, use the :ref:`ILLSendStaffNotices system preference <illsendstaffnotices-label>`. The emails use the ILL\_REQUEST\_MODIFIED and ILL\_REQUEST\_CANCEL notice templates. They can be customized in the :ref:`Notices and slips tool <notices-and-slips-label>`.
Θα αποσταλεί επίσης μήνυμα ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου στον αποστολέα της παρατήρησης για να τον ειδοποιήσει ότι η παρατήρηση έχει παραληφθεί. For requests with the status 'New request', patrons will see the 'Request cancellation' button. If used, the request's status will be updated to 'Cancellation requested'. Staff may choose to delete the request to remove it completely.

The only change patrons can make is adding a note to the request then click 'Submit modifications'.

Clicking 'View' on a request brings up the full details.

Once created, the request will initially be listed with the status 'New request'. Request statuses are updated as staff process the request.
